Dr Jenson's Certifications
Dr Jenson is a certified ICF Professional Coach and Asia Institute of Mentoring's Mentor. He also received a Professional Certificate in Coaching with Singapore Management University and is certified as a EB Centre’s Engendering Balance in Leadership Practitioner (a unique technique used for executive coaching).
Dr Jenson believes in constantly keeping his IT and IT management skills relevant and has over the years been certified in a wide variety of IT-related certifications. He is certified in all Sun Micosystems Java-related Certifications (noteworthy is his certification as Sun Certified Enterprise Architect) and also in Sun Solaris Systems and Network Administrator. He is currently a certified TOGAF Enterprise Architect and NUS ISS Certified ISS NICF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner. As a veteran IT project manager, Dr Jenson is also certifed as IT Project Manager with Singapore Computer Soceity.
With more than 20 years of experiences in the Education Industry, Dr Jenson is currently being certified in the Institute of Adult Learning’s WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance. As a strong advocate of applying experiental and learning through play methodology in class, he is certified as a LEGO(R) SERIOUS PLAY Facilitator and certified Care for Education's LEGO(R) Six Bricks and LEGO(R) Playbox facilitator. For his deep expertise in LEGO(R) Six Bricks, he was recently being recognized as the Certified Lead Trainer for LEGO(R) Six Bricks by Care for Education (the inventor of LEGO(R) Six Bricks methodology), He is one of the <10 certified Lead Trainer in the world in LEGO(R) Six Bricks.
Strategic and Innovative Workshop
Navigating Success with LEGO®: A Journey of Innovation and Synergy

Recently, the Vice President of NUS Ecosystem engaged us to design a bespoke strategy development workshop for their senior management, charting their path to 2025. Using the LEGO® Serious Play® methodology, we co-created an innovative workshop that revealed essential insights and identified three critical success factors with actionable initiatives.
This successful workshop led to a renewed partnership, where we embedded one of the identified success factors into a full-day team-building event for about 70 staff members. Our mission was to foster an understanding of synergy through teamwork, using LEGO® Six Bricks to highlight the core elements of synergy in a fun and immersive way. The grand finale, a LEGO® Serious Play® activity, allowed us to collaboratively define what synergy means in practice.

Keynote Speaking Engagement
Driving Safety Excellence Through Systems Thinking
Shahrin, the Managing Director of the SMRT TEL line (now CEO of Singapore Post), approached Dr. Jenson after attending his customized Systems Thinking Habits programme for SMRT TEL. He recognized the immense value of systems thinking in workplace safety. Shahrin wanted Dr. Jenson to design a keynote speech to increase his team’s awareness of applying systems thinking habits to drive excellence in workplace safety.
After discussions with Shahrin and his team, Dr. Jenson developed a keynote titled “Seeing People as the Solutions Rather Than the Blame,” highlighting three critical points:
- Accidents are complex processes involving the entire sociotechnical system.
- Operator error is a product of the environment.
- Blame is the enemy of safety.
Dr. Jenson delivered this impactful speech at the SMRT TEL Safety and Security Symposium. The keynote was well-received, leading Shahrin to engage Dr. Jenson again the following year. This renewed trust underscores the high value Coddiwompling delivers.
The next year, Dr. Jenson presented “Untested Assumptions Kill,” emphasizing vigilance in operational environments and the importance of testing assumptions to prevent unforeseen problems.
