Like many things in my life, it started purely out of curiosity of noticing a friend who is also a coach contributing to AI-generated posts on the topic of executive coaching managed by LinkedIn.
In my mind, I was wondering whether given my >3 years of executive coaching, I would be able to answer some of the posted questions on executive coaching. I decided to give it a try.
Surprisingly I find the whole process of contributing opinions a great learning experience.
First, the post triggered me to reflect upon all my coaching learning moments and write a 750-character post in response.
Second, I have the opportunity to read and learn from other coaches who have contributed to the same post on executive coaching and get connected with them afterwards.
Finally, which is what I felt I learned the most is I am given an opportunity to consolidate and distil out the wisdom with clarity from all my diverse coaching experiences over the years. It reaffirms my coaching philosophy going forward and allows me to discover more deeply my values and beliefs when I get into my coaching session with my client. This I feel is really important to better serve my clients. My client absolutely deserves that from me.
The icing on the cake is I was awarded by LinkedIn with the “Top Executive Coaching Voice” honour reserved for only the top 5% of contributors within the community. Humbled by that and yet also excited about the potential opportunity that such recognition can open up for me.
When I give from my heart with no intention of getting anything in return, I always get so much more in return.
Coddiwompling at its best.
