This photo is taken at the Universal Hall that can host more than 300 pax that is located in the community started by Findhorn Foundation.
The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland was found in 1962 by 3 people from different walks. All three of them working hands in hands started a community-based sustainability movement to create a ground up space that emphasise on the values of inner listening, love in action and co-creation with nature that has lasted until now.
It grows into a huge community that lives a sustainability lifestyle in the same location together.
It demonstrates to me that the world can be changed and often do change because of a small number of committed and passionate individuals.
It shows me that it is possible to create sustainability-community that strives on its core values from the bottom up approach.
We need more of such ground up solution to give people the space to pause and reflect, the skills to act in love to each other and to nature and the know-how to co-create sustainability solutions with nature.
This is putting the power back to the people.
This is embracing the attitude of let us not wait for organisations or government to change, let us come together to do what feel right for us and for our beloved Planet.
So inspiring to say the least…
