“Dedicated and inspiring educator” comes to mind when I think of Jenson. I had the honour to get to know Jenson through the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® community, and collaborated on one of the People’s Association’s programmes on 2 occasions to engage Singapore’s youths into envisioning for the annual SG75 competition. Jenson’s inspiring personality, abilities, and drive were nothing that I have ever experienced. His dedication as an educator to bring Singapore’s youths to dare to dream and explore showed how he was able to impact his students and the people he has worked and is working with. However, his dedication did not end there, he went on to continue the impact in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® community, sharing experiences as he went. As a fellow facilitator and adult educator, Jenson is a jewel to the education sector.

My fellow employees and I attended a Lego session facilitated by Jenson. It was an eye-opening, thought provoking and all round inspiring experience.
The session, for me, brought to the surface, organised and crystallised conscious and subconscious thoughts, some thoughts I didn’t even know I had.

Jenson has the remarkable ability to create a trusting, non-judgmental environment in a calm and collected manner.
Highly recommend his expertise as a facilitator in Lego Serious Play, for self discovery as well as solving multi-stakeholder matters as I also has the opportunity to see it used in this manner.

Jenson is an excellent lecturer, facilitator and dedicated educator who never ceases to inspire and motivate his students. I have had the pleasure of being in one of his Lego Serious Play class, where his diverse past experiences and knowledge in facilitating and directing made the sessions fun and enjoyable, as well as an enriching one. Even with his extensive experiences, he never fails to continually seek ways to improve his work, to ensure what his students learn and gain is maximised. Being approachable and engaging, our interactions extend far beyond the boundaries of the classroom. I am glad for the opportunity to have had Jenson as a lecturer and privileged to call him a friend.

I had a privilege of working with Dr Jenson, as he facilitated a series of dynamic and contextualised training on Systems Thinking for my organisation then. Through our interactions, I came to know Dr Jenson as a highly approachable individual who has a wealth of knowledge and yet is humble and ground in nature.

During the System Thinking sessions, he was able to contextualise the knowledge and put the learners’ understanding to practice. This created a learning environment that encouraged learning. With his patient approach, I would highly recommend Dr Jenson for any training related to Systems Thinking.

I partnered with Jenson on one of our first breakthrough programmes – on enabling sustainable food in South East Asia. We brought together 80 senior leaders from investment firms, health, schools, climate action, retailers, farmers, etc. Jenson helped us to understand systems thinking, and how to map and make sense of complex systems. The methods, including LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, were profoundly insightful in helping the leaders see where big opportunities lie. The programme led to many important changes in policy, investment and corporate practices. Jenson is a brilliant person to partner with – energetic, insightful, innovative, fun, compassionate,… and so many other things. The opportunity to work with Jenson is an incredible opportunity.

Jenson designs interesting and engaging activities that are tailored to individual needs. They are effective for individuals to get to know themselves better or increase one’s awareness of the strengths of other team members. It was a privilege to receive his training for building teams.

Jenson is deeply passionate to transform the hearts and minds of his learners. I have worked with him in the SG75 engagements for more than 100 students. His passion and commitment is admirable. I am impressed and inspired by his heart to serve his learners, communities and His generosity to share his knowledge and experiences to all.

I have had the honour last semester to be part of Dr. Jenson’s class on LEGO Serious Play.

His passion and dedication towards teaching is manifested through the way he conducts his lessons. There were never dull periods in his lessons. Given the nature of LEGO Serious Play sessions, he nurtured a safe space where fellow classmates and I were highly encouraged to speak up and share whilst he lent his undivided attention to each speaker.

Dr Jenson’s care and concern towards his students extend beyond the confines of the classroom pe se with his invaluable advice pertaining to career and even life in general. He is a genuine educator with a warm, approachable disposition. He is a true inspiration to many and I am honoured to have met him as an educator.

Jenson is very insightful and strategic in his field. His energy and commitment is infectious. His leadership in large-scale workshops has earned him recognition as a leading facilitator in Lego Serious Play as well as other strategic-level exercises.

I know Jenson through the LEGO Serious Play community of practice (COP). Jenson’s passion for community-building is evident in his energy in bringing together passionate LEGO Serious Play facilitators in a large-scale youth outreach to envision the future of Singapore. He led all aspects seamlessly, with rigour while encouraging full participation of all involved. What I appreciate most is Jenson’s ability to get his hands dirty to get the job done and his appreciation for people.
